Alexandra Ellis, PhD, MSc, AM
Alexandra joined the ICER team in 2017 as a Senior Scientist. In this role, Alexandra leads teams conducting rigorous analyses and critical appraisals of published medical evidence. She also supports methodological developments for both economic evaluations and systematic reviews.
Prior to joining ICER, Alexandra was a Graduate Research Associate at Brown University. As a consultant to an evidence-based medicine technology company, she provided statistical advice to address methodological or practical complexities when synthesizing evidence from studies. She also previously worked as a Research Associate at a healthcare consulting company based in Boston.
Alexandra received her PhD in Health Services Research at Brown University’s School of Public Health, with a focus on evidence synthesis for decision making. She also holds an AM in Biostatistics from Brown University, a MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BS in Economics and Mathematics from Bucknell University.
