Vice President of Development

With more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, Athelia “Tia” Tilson provides strategic vision and direction for ICER’s fundraising and stewardship activities as Vice President of Development. In this role, she leads ICER’s fundraising efforts, enhancing ICER’s visibility and connecting philanthropic donors to the core mission of helping all patients achieve sustainable access to high-value care.

Tia brings deep experience leading philanthropic strategy across higher education, health care, and global health. Most recently, she was the inaugural director of development at Ariadne Labs, a joint center of health systems innovation of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Prior to joining Ariadne Labs, she led fundraising programs at MIT, Boston Children’s Hospital and Pathfinder International. She started her career in the non-profit space as a community and political organizer in reproductive health and earned a BA in political science from Wellesley College.
