Zunelly Odhiambo, MPH
Zunelly joined ICER in October 2019 as Program Manager for ICER’s Midwest Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council. Prior to joining ICER, Zunelly was as a project manager in translational research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In that role, she oversaw multi-institutional research efforts focused on early detection of pancreatic cancer. She provided operational and data management support in relation to patient recruitment and maintaining human sample biobank. She also was instrumental in providing logistical support in projects focused on characterizing the genomic landscape of mutations in patients with biliary cancers. Zunelly previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Columbia University at the Center for Behavioral and Cardiovascular Health. She aided in launching a few research studies and provided operational guidance. Prior to her work in research operations, Zunelly was a case manager at a foster care agency, aiding in family reunification and providing mental health support for foster care children.
Zunelly has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Amherst College and holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, with a certificate in Health Policy Analysis.
